Deanna Oppenheimer will share a global perspective from the boardroom about the issues and opportunities facing FinTech leaders–capital, regulation, strategic alternatives, risk and reward.

Deanna Oppenheimer is founder of CameoWorks, LLC, a global retail and financial services advisory firm.  From 2005-2011, she served in a number of roles at Barclays PLC, first as chief executive of U.K. Retail and Business Banking and then as vice chair of Global Retail Banking.

From 1985-2005, she served in a number of positions at Washington Mutual, Inc., with her last role as president of Consumer Banking, where she helped to transform the lender from a regional to a national player. Her non-executive director roles include Tesco PLC (Remuneration chair), the world’s third largest retailer and Tesco Bank, its banking subsidiary; NCR, a global technology company, Worldpay (Risk chair), a global payments company and Paris-based AXA, the second-largest insurance provider in the world; the Joshua Green Corporation, and Brooks Sports. In addition, the firm advises Bain & Company, E*TRADE, BECU, Finsphere, as well as several technology companies.

The Banker‘s editor Brian Caplen talks to Deanna Oppenheimer, former head of retail banking at Barclays and now CEO of CameoWorks, about the challenges of digital, innovation and regulation.
